While our industry is young, our management team has vast experience with payment processing and financial services. These attributes translate into direct benefits for our clients. Jon Palmer brings more than 35 years of experience in the electronic payments and financial services industries, having led several companies to significant growth and prominence. Jon currently chairs the Board of Directors for the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA), an inter-industry trade association that promotes the advancement of network branded (open-loop) prepaid cards. Also a highly regarded commercial banker, Jon rose to the position of Vice Chairman with Fidelity Bank and also served as Chief Retail Banking and Technology Executive of Barnett Banks. A native of Philadelphia, Jon attended school there earning a BS in Applied Mathematics at LaSalle College and an MBA at the Wharton School of Business. As Chief Retail Partners Executive, Jim Grabow leads the development and delivery of prepaid card programs for FSV's financial services partners. Jim joined FSV from Wal-Mart, where he served most recently as Senior Director - Financial Services Division with operating responsibilities for the Wal-Mart Card Products Group, including credit cards, prepaid cards and the open network gift card programs. Jim's past roles with Wal-Mart, which he joined in May 1996, include Director of Business Development in China and Director of Specialty Divisions and Concessions in Europe. Prior to his overseas assignments, he had responsibility for International Income Development and International Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Jim served in several roles with 3M, including Managing Director for an Eastern European Distributor in Russia and Managing Director of the New Orleans office for 3M Export. A Colorado native, Jim holds an MBA from Colorado State University and an undergraduate degree in Aerospace with a minor in Business from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado. Matt Frye has 11 years of prepaid and payments experience and a specialized knowledge of the payments industry in the U.S. and foreign markets. He leads FSV's prepaid debit processing business. Matt formerly served as head of the Product Team at PreCash. Before that, he served as President, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Dallas-based PAYjr, Inc and CardLab, Inc, where he led the money raising and concept stages of the firms and managed their prepaid and gift card businesses. Matthew has previously worked for JPMorgan Chase, in the Treasury Services division, and numerous other bill payment start-ups. He is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), with an undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Betsy came to FSV in September 2006, bringing with her nearly 20 years of business and legal experience. In private practice she served as outside counsel advising businesses in such sectors as manufacturing, healthcare, retail, agriculture and supermarkets. She was also a business consultant for nascent and start-up companies and served as President and CEO of a manufacturing company. At FSV she provides continuing counsel and guidance to the company and its management on legal issues and on the legal implications of business related matters. Betsy is knowledgeable in FSV's core business and applies that knowledge in her counsel role. Betsy holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Portland State University, Portland, OR, and she received her J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University, Sheppard Broad Law School. She holds law licenses by sitting for bar exams in TX, CA, MO, FL and NJ. Cathy Corby Parker, FSV's Executive Vice President, leads the development and execution of the company's strategy, including business development. Cathy has over 25 years experience in payments and electronic delivery of financial services, beginning in 1981 with her participation in the first PC banking experiment in the U.S. Cathy has held a variety of executive and consulting roles that started in the early days of ATMs, debit cards, telephone banking, electronic bill payment, Internet banking, TV banking, and e-commerce. In 2000, she turned her focus to the merchant and acquiring markets. This extensive experience on both sides of the payments market has created a holistic perspective that guides her vision today in her role at FSV. |
